As the Gallery Attendant and Marketing Specialist at Passaic County Arts Center — PCAC for short — I am responsible for shaping PCAC’s public-facing identity through class and event programming, content creation, and curatorial collaboration across four group exhibitions annually.

I have developed and launched original programming including the ‘Art Film Series’, ‘Artist Talk Series’, and the ‘Paint & Sip: the Master Artists’ event, increasing public engagement with the arts.

Manage and curate content for all social media platforms, aligning messaging with the center’s mission and expanding digital reach.

Besides managing the Art Center and assisting with four annual gallery exhibits, I am responsible for planning the event(s), program(s), and class(es). 

I design the flyers, write the descriptions, and implement marketing strategies to bring awareness secure community engagement.

PCAC is dedicated to providing high quality and accessible arts through gallery exhibitions, workshops, art classes, and public programs.

The John W. Rea House is located in Hawthorne, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1810 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 1999.

ART FILM SERIES

I put together a list of films inspired by the arts, then crafted a film schedule (2 month period), ensure movie licensing by contacting Motion Pictures, Disney, Netflix, etc., and implement a marketing strategy to bring awareness to the local community of the event. 

The marketing plan includes flyers, social media posts, and live stories. 

ARTIST TALK SERIES

I find artists — writers, painters, poets, photographers, dancers, etc — and put together a free event where artists and the public can converge. 

The intention of this event is to make the arts more accessible to the community. 

I create a marketing plan for each new artists which includes flyers, event description, live stories, and social media strategy. 

PAINT & SIP: THE MASTERS

As a way to break free form the traditional Paint and Sip events and bring the classical French art Aieltier to Passaic County, I created a Paint and Sip series that incorporated the master oil painters. 

This is the most successful event that the Department of Cultural and Historic Affairs at Passaic County has experienced. 

Every event reaches its maximum with a waitlist every month. 

My marketing strategy is social media planning, flyers, event description, posts and live stories.
