IN THE STUDIO

My studio practice is rooted in observation, experimentation, and an ongoing curiosity about people and the stories images can hold. Working primarily in oil, I build paintings through layers of color, form, and revision allowing each work to develop slowly through the process of looking and creating.

Painting has shaped the way I approach creative direction: teaching me to study composition, understand color, trust iteration, and recognize when an image needs restraint or when it needs the unexpected.
